Israel Miraculous Victory - Six Day War

Six day War

The historian began by noting that he wrote his book as a scroll in the format of the Bible, emphasizing that

"we are now in a period in which we witness miracles no less great...than the miracles of the Bible."

Nicholas Winton

Sir Nicholas George Winton MBE was a British humanitarian who organised the rescue of 669 children, most of them Jewish, from Czechoslovakia on the eve of the Second World War in an operation later known as the Czech Kinder transport. Winton found homes for the children and arranged for their safe passage to Britain. The world found out about his work over 50 years later, in 1988. The British press dubbed him the "British Schindler".

Sir Nicholas Winton, who organised the rescue of 669 children destined for Nazi concentration camps, has died aged 106.
Sir Nicholas, then a stockbroker, arranged for trains to carry Jewish children out of occupied Prague.
The prime minister described him as a "great man" and the chief rabbi praised his "exceptional courage".
He died on the anniversary of the departure of a train in 1939 carrying the largest number of children - 241.
His son-in-law Stephen Watson said he died peacefully in his sleep at Wexham Hospital, Slough.
Sir Nicholas brought the children to Britain, battling bureaucracy at both ends, saving them from almost certain death, and then kept quiet about his exploits for a half-century.
He organised a total of eight trains from Prague, with some other forms of transport also set up from Vienna.
  • Sir Nicholas was born Nicholas Wertheimer in 1909 to Jewish parents
  • By 1938 he was a young stockbroker in London
  • He dropped everything to go to Prague to help Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi occupation
  • Sir Nicholas organised foster families for Jewish children in Britain, placing adverts in newspapers
  • The 669 children travelled on eight trains across four countries
  • Sir Nicholas's team persuaded British custom officials to allow all the children in despite incomplete documentation

Lion Of Judah

Lion of Judah

"Behold, the Lamb of God!" (Jn. 1:36)
"Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah . . ." (Rev. 5:5).
Jacob said, “Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s children shall bow down before you. Judah is a lion’s whelp; from the prey, my son, you have gone up.
He bows down, he lies down as a lion; and as a lion, who shall rouse him? The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people” (Genesis 49:8-10).
In this passage God looked at Judah as a strong warrior and likened him to a young lion sleeping in its den after devouring its prey. Perhaps it was this strength of character and determination that God foresaw in this tribe that influenced Him to choose Judah to be His lawgiver and the tribe from which His Son would later be born (Hebrews 7:14).

Our Rock

When we were little, most of us were told the story of, "David and Goliath," and how he defeated the giant with a little stone, but did you know another stone of God would come on the scene?

That stone would also save David's life. It's called the, "Rock of Ages!" You see, David would face another giant in the future and like Goliath, he hated the one true God - his name is called, "Sin."

No one able to stand against Israel

Israel Promise

The Bible warns the destiny of the World is inseparable from Israel and Jerusalem. The Bible says God would one day re-gather the children of Israel back into their land from among many nations around the world. The Bible says they would be re-gathered in unbelief .

God warns He is not re-gathering the children of Israel into their Land because they deserve it, but because His Name and His Word are at stake (see Ezekiel 36:17-23) . and because He loves them. They are His chosen people.

The Bible warns God would then make Jerusalem a world trouble spot. The Bible says all nations of the world will turn against Israel. The Bible warns during this time 'Gaza will be forsaken' . and offers a stark warning.

Then, one day when the armies of the world will gather in and around nation Israel (the coming battle of Armageddon) and when all seems lost for the children of Israel, the Bible says a believing remnant will recognize their Messiah from Scripture, and will call upon His Name. He will then return to save Israel.

The Bible also tells us 'after these things' the little nation of Israel and the children of Israel will rule over all the nations on Earth, in peace, under her King and Messiah Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew).

The Bible says all of the covenants, promises, curses, prophecies, and blessings God has made to the children and nation of Israel will be fulfilled .

"Search from the Book of the LORD, and read,

    ‘Not one of these (prophecies) shall fail;

not one shall lack her mate.’

For My mouth has commanded it,

and His Spirit has gathered them."

     (Isaiah 34:16)
